We are a church where we want to grow in faith and fellowship as we follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Please join us for Sunday morning service at 10:30 am to hear about God’s love for you as expressed in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

We are located at 3996 State Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, in Ohio.

  • Coming to a new church for the first time can be intimidating, so here’s what to expect at SCCC:

    Our service starts at 10:30 am and lasts about 80 minutes. We sing several hymns to piano accompaniment, we have several announcements, and we take communion (the Lord’s supper) together. We have a time of prayer and then hear a sermon based on biblical texts, which usually lasts about 30 minutes.

    Our church is fairly small, with 50-60 attendees each week. Families are encouraged to come, and a nursery/child area is adjacent to the balcony. A children’s lesson is available for older kids.

What We Believe

Here’s a summary of what we believe and profess. For our full doctrinal statement, click on the button below (feature coming soon).

  1. The Bible is inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings.

  2. There is one God made up of three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  3. Jesus was begotten of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary.

  4. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and of righteousness. He empowers the preaching and teaching of the gospel.

  5. People were created in the image of God, but sinned and brought physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God. All people are born with a nature that desires sin over God.

  6. Jesus died to pay for our sins, and all who believe in Him are saved through His sacrifice.

  7. Jesus was raised from the dead and ascended into heaven. He is now an advocate for all who believe in Him.

  8. Jesus is coming back.

  9. All who believe in Jesus are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God and receive eternal life.

  10. All people will be raised from the dead. Those who have trusted in Jesus will be present with Jesus in heaven, and those who have rejected Jesus will be condemned to hell.

  11. The devil (Satan) exists and is working to destroy the souls of people. Satan, his demons, and all who reject Jesus will be condemned to hell.

  12. The Church is the body of Jesus, and the mission of the Church is preach the gospel to the entire world.

  13. The Lord commanded that believers should be baptized and should take communion (the Lord’s Table).
